Mary Ann Davis Francis, 76, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 10:50 a.m., in New Iberia following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, August 27, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the church, with Pastor R.C. Young officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Harris Francis III of Franklin; Keith Wayne Francis of Houston, TX; and the Rev. Michael Francis of Fairfield, CA; one daughter, Yolanda Harrison of Franklin; four brothers, Isaiah (Matilda) Davis of Houston, TX; Dr. Albert (Mary) Davis and Elder Melvin (Clarissa) Davis, both of Charlotte, NC; and Alvin Davis of Miami, FL; two sisters, Juanita Davis Mitchell of Franklin; and Estell Davis Howell of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Francis was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
