Tessie M. Ina Sylvester, 38, a resident of New Iberia and native of New Orleans passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at 3:14 a.m. as a result of an automobile accident in New Iberia.
Visitation will be observed Sat., Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Allen Randle.
Survivors include her Husband, Melvin Curtis Sylvester Jr. of New Iberia; Mother, Chrissie Ina and Father, Jerry Hall both from Franklin.; one son, Tarrike LaMont Phillips of Patterson; two daughters, Frankie Small of Franklin, and Kayla Ina of Houston, TX; three brothers, Greg Bell of Morgan City, DeMarcus Webster of Gibson, Jerry Hall of Franklin; four sisters, Tamika (Tommy) Alexander of Lafayette, Margaret Bilbo of Gibson, Kelia Joseph of Franklin, and Stephanie Hall of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
