Laura Aucoin, 77, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs.
Laura was born Feb. 24, 1939, in Four Mile Bayou, the daughter of Nelson Daigle and Lea Leonard Daigle.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Agna J. (A.J.) Hebert Jr. and wife Lisa of Denham Springs, Timmy Hebert Sr. and wife Cindy of Maurice, and Jason Hebert and wife Traci of Denham Springs; one daughter, Joy Hebert McCartney and husband Billie of Denham Springs; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Logan Daigle of Morgan City and Ernest Daigle and wife Sue of St. George, Utah.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Lea Leonard Daigle; husbands, Agna J. (A.J.) Hebert Sr., Jeremiah “Jerry” Davis and Henry Aucoin; and one brother, Marshall Daigle.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m. The visitation will resume Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Following Mass, Laura will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
