The Rev. William Augman Sr., 92, a native of Patterson and resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
Visitation will be Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., Dr. C.F. Smith officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, William Augman Jr. of Bogalusa and Reginald Augman of Patterson; three daughters, Renita Augman of Berwick, and Betty Augman and Patricia LaGarde-Johnson, both of Morgan City; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, two daughters, four brothers, and a sister.
