NAKITHE NOCOLE SMITH SINGLETON

Nakithe Nocole Smith Singleton, 36, a resident of Amelia, La. and native of Morgan City, La. passed away on Saturday Nov. 19, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 at Union Bethel AME Church, 956 Lake Palourde Rd., Amelia, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow services in the Union Bethel Church cemetery in Amelia, La.
Memories of Nakithe “O Mary Oncey” ,as she was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of her four brothers, Rutherford Jones, Calvin Singleton, and Michael Singleton all of Amelia, La.; and Clarence Jones of Conroe, TX; seven sisters, Monnie Clark, Lillian Diggs, Shantell McPherson and Cheryl Singleton all of Amelia, La.; Jessica Singleton of Jackson, MS, Michelle Singleton of Berwick, La. and Mrs. Frank (Nakeitha) Henderson of Philadelphia, PA; three uncles, eight aunts, devoted friends, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Nakithe was preceded in death by her parents, four aunts, seven uncles, her step-father, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
