Savannah Lockette Joseph Bing, 77, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Iberia Medical Center.
She was a native of Four Corners and a resident of Jeanerette.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Moses Baptist Church, La. 192, Sorrell, with burial rights at the church at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette.
She is survived by four sons, Leonard P. Joseph and Kenneth Joseph of Jeanerette; Keith L. Joseph of Houston, Teas, and Kermit Joseph of Lafayette; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Wells of Part Arthur, Texas and Trenia L. Joseph of Jeanerette; three brothers, Louis Lockette Jr. and his wife Lilie of Jeanerette, Raymond Lockette of Charenton, and Lionel Lockette and his wife Arlene of Four corners; three sisters, Dorothy Lockette Provost of Charenton, Aldonia Lockette Charles of Franklin, and Evelyn Lockette Rhodes of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a devoted friend, James Pleasant of Lafayette.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
