Curtis J. Myles, 77, a native and resident of Morgan City, died following a short illness at 3:12 p.m. Jan. 11, 2017, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Burial rites will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Otis Mortuary Chapel, 501 Willow, Franklin.
He is survived by a daughter, Monica M. Bayles of Houston; a brother, John Myles of New Orleans; five sisters, Carrie Smith of Seattle, Ellodie Boyd and Evelyn (Joseph) Spellman of New Orleans, Ruth (Lawrence) Matthews of Harvey; and Janie (James) Sanders of Gretna; two grandchildren, De'Andre Lancelin and Kiara Watson of Houston; and a great-granddaughter, De'Dreanna Narcisse of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
