Janice E. Osburn, 72, a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, and a longtime resident of Stephensville, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, with her family by her side.
Janice spent her life caring for her family, pursuing her career as a hairdresser and expressing herself in her artwork. Her latest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the fur babies.
Janice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eris Osburn; sons, Dwain Osburn and wife Shani, and Craig Osburn and wife Erin; daughter-in-law, Shari Osburn; grandchildren, Brittni Roy and husband Allan, Cade Osburn, Tyler Osburn and fiance’ Brianne Barrilleaux, Alexander Osburn, Nicholas Osburn, Caroline Osburn, Chaz Perry, Emilly Osburn, Zachary Osburn, Noah Osburn and Maddie Osburn; great-grandchildren, Hudson Roy and Aubrey Osburn; and niece, Tina Burkart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Erma Picou Eliopoulos; son, Troy Osburn; sister, Elaine Demetrakopoulos; brother, Burt Polaski; and numerous other family members.
The memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, with graveside services at Morgan City Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Mary Outreach, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Stephen Catholic Church or church of your choice.
