Talley O. “Tod” Dosier, 69, a resident of Berwick, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Tod was born May 29, 1947, in New Orleans, the son of Talley Marvin Dosier and Hazel Marie Kebodeaux Dosier.
Tod was a gentle, kind, and loving man who never met a stranger. He was a faithful member of Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship for over 35 years. In his younger days, Tod enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing. His two grandsons, Morgan and Taylor, were his pride and joy.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Marcy Hartmeyer and husband Jeffrey of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; two grandsons, Morgan Hartmeyer of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Taylor Hartmeyer and wife Carmen of New Iberia; one great-grandson on the way!; and one sister, Margaret Jane Burguieres and husband William of Jacksonville, Florida.
Tod was preceded in death by his parents, Talley Martin Dosier and Hazel Marie Kebodeaux Dosier; and his loving wife, Suzanne F. Dosier.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the wonderful care that they gave to Mr. Tod.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship with the Rev. Marty Harden officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home. The visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship. Following services, Tod will be laid to rest in Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery.
