On Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, Joyce C. Youngblood, a native of Buras and resident of Amelia, was called to her heavenly home at the age of 84.
Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her children, Simon Youngblood, Charles Youngblood and his wife, Brenda, and Penny Youngblood; two grandchildren, Jake and Lindsey Youngblood; and one brother, Floyd Cognevich and his wife, Selena.
She joined in heaven her husband, Ben L. Youngblood; her parents; 11 brothers and one sister.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. until time of services at 9:45 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following services, Joyce will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Church Cemetery in Amelia.
